"The Buzz"

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration between 5 different majors, the Savannah College of Art and Design introduced “The Buzz” — a multi-camera half-hour comedy produced in front of a live studio audience. It is about a group of 20-somethings finding their way in a post-graduate world.

Bryson Lima was a part of "The Buzz" since the very early stages of development for the pilot episode.  He started out as the Director, Director of Photography, and switcher on the Pilot episode, before working his way through several different producer positions. Most recently Bryson served as the Executive Producer (and Production Supervisor while on-set) of "The Buzz," having played an integral part of all six episodes that have been produced thus far.

In 2017 "The Buzz" won the National Student Emmy® Award for Best Series - Scripted. Showrunner, Matt Nickley, and Executive Producer, Shasta Ford, accepted the award.

In the pilot episode of the student Emmy Award-winning sitcom, three friends navigate post-college life with help from the characters at the local coffee shop and learn that life isn't always grande. A “SCAD Originals” episodic production.

“Every quarter a new episode of The Buzz — about a bunch of college grads hanging out in a coffee shop — gets produced, directed, edited by a different set of students and streamed on the school’s website.”
